  It's been a long, hard month. Despite the sadness and frustrations surrounding my dad, I have continued to make fitness a priority in my life and quite honestly- it has been a saving grace! I know my dad would want me to keep striving to reach my goals with fitness- so I have been. I am forever grateful for the work ethic and passion HE instilled in ME as a father. My other motivation has been my cousin who left for Quantico the week my dad passed away- he is training to be a Marine Corps Officer. How can I ever give less than my best with these two motivators?       They always say that fitness is the best therapy- and I can now say that is a true statement. Every time I think something feels hard or challenging I think back to January 3rd when I found out about my dad and suddenly nothing else seems hard.
