Welcome To My Blog!
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to finally
share my love for fitness with all of you. Let me start by introducing myself.

Why am I starting a blog? Health and fitness have been a
love of mine for many years now and becoming a personal trainer is a goal of
mine (more to come on this). I ran my first half marathon about 10 years ago, and since have run more than I can remember! The photo below is me 10 years ago with Alissa- my very first half marathon!
I have always been involved in sports and cheerleading, but in high school I thought it would be fun to add running to my life. And now I have run more over 12 half marathons, 1 full marathon, multiple du-Athlons, and a triathlon. I also cheered for four years at IU:
My name is Krista and I am a 25 year old fitness
enthusiast. I love running, biking, lifting, tumbling, and anything else that involves getting my heart rate up. The most exciting thing about me right now is I am a brand new wife
to this wonderful husband of mine, Jake.
Jake loves fitness too, so you will be seeing
lots of him through this blog because usually we work out together and we share a lot of the same fitness goals. I am an IU grad and will always be a passionate
HOOSIER fan. I work full time at a Healthcare Communications group, and I am
also a cheerleading coach and tumbling instructor at Indiana Elite All Stars.

Growing up in an active family gave me the foundation to continue
to love working out:
I did a a tri-athalon (Tri Indy in the canal) with my dad and uncle, ran a half marathon with my sister, and my mom works out everyday too! I am lucky to have an active family. My niece even ran her first race with Uncle Jake a few weeks ago (more to come).
I try to never miss a day of working out- no matter what kind of workout it is. I also try to always have something to train for as well.
One of the main reasons I am starting this blog is because I
want to share my workouts with you all and hopefully help you fall in love with
being active. I have developed a
lifestyle where fitness is embedded into each and every busy day of mine and
thankfully my husband’s too- so I have a lot of great things to share with you. It is so important to me for people to be educated on all of the wonderful benefits that being active can have.
Despite having two jobs, and all of the other
hobbies that occupy my time, I always incorporate working out some way or
another. For those of you who hate working out, I hope my blog can inspire you
to love working out. For those of you who don’t feel very educated about fitness,
I hope my blog can help you learn more about the endless benefits working out
has.
What kind of posts will I be sharing? Oh boy do I have a lot
in mind! Every day I think of something that I can blog about. I guess you will
just have to keep coming back and reading!
